Ciao! 🙋 As promised I’m going to update my TBR for September in this post. During the last two weeks from September 1st until today, I’ve read a total of 5 books. I guess, that’s a good progress right? 😎 I’m not going to spoil the surprise and tell you what those 5 books are. You’ll find out when I do reviews on them in the next couple of posts or when I include them in my wrap up by the end of this month.
Because school is starting to get in the way of my reading schedule, I’ve decided that I would pick another 5 books to read this month. I have to produce an academic journal article on literature research by the end of this semester, so I’ll have to conduct my own research and do a tons of readings on articles, reviews, journals, and pretty much the boring stuff — the type of readings I’m so not into. 😭 Although I pick 5 books for the rest of this month, I would prioritize 3 out of them. It means that if I can’t make it to do 5, at least I must accomplish to do 3 books. Here they are.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber | Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo | Heartless by Marissa Meyer | And I Darken by Kristen White
The three books I shall be prioritizing are Caraval, Wonder Woman: Warbringer, and Illuminae. As I’ve claimed before, I’m a sucker for sticking to my TBR. I can get easily distracted by YA or NA romance books. 😋 In my busy days, they’re life saver. They’re easy to tackle. Thus, I can keep track of my reading challenge and don’t get fall behind. Although they take only couple hours to finish, in the end mostly I end up rating them 3 stars below. Sure they may save you from falling behind your reading challenge, but they’re not always perfect. Well, you cannot always get what you want. Sometimes you can only dream. 🤦
I think that’s all I have to say for this post. I hope I don’t get sidetracked, and this time I’m actually able to stick to my TBR. 🤞 How many books you plan to read this month? Are there any books from my TBR that you have read or that you plan to read this month too? Thank you for visiting here. See you in the next post! 💕
