There will be many new releases on October, and I’m excited because all of the books seem really interesting. Last month I was able to read nine books, so I think for October I’ll pick ten books to read. Hopefully I get to read them all and maybe more. Here are the top ten books I’m gonna be reading this month. 😀

  1. Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
This is my number one book I’m most thrilled to read. ❤️ After so many months of waiting, finally it’s out. I’ve always loved Colleen Hoover’s books. They are so fun yet meaningful and inspiring to read. They’re not merely about romance, but there are always important and relatable issues being brought up and dealt with.
  2. Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass #6) by Sarah J. Maas
This is yet another book I’m eager to read. Although I don’t love this series as much as I used to, I’m curious to be in Chaol’s head and see things from his perspective. I’ve seen a lot of updates on this book and accidentally spoiled myself of few details, but I’m determined to find out myself.
  3. They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
I’ve never read any of his books, and they’ve been receiving a lot of attention from the book community. This will be my first LGBT read. I’ve read diverse books before, but none of them have gay characters as the main leads, only side characters. I was hesitant at the beginning because it’s never my preference to read books with gay main leads, but I want to try to be more open minded I guess and try not to feel weirded out by them.
  4. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
This book will be out on October 10 if I’m not mistaken. I’m not a big fan of John Green’s books because I was confused by them most of the time, but I don’t like missing out. At least when it’s John Green. I hope I’m not dissatisfied by this.
  5. The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
The cover of this book is so beautiful. 😍 I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Also, everyone is lovin’ this book so much. I’m all the more ecstatic to read it.
  6. Gemina (The Illuminae Files #2) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I’m in love with this series. After reading the first book last month, I’m hungry for the next book. I’m currently placing my order for a copy of this book, so I’ll just have to wait a few days more.
  7. Speak Easy, Speak Love by McKelle George
I remember nothing of what this book is about. I only remember that I was intrigued to read it. Hence, I added it to my TBR.
  8. Warcross by Marie Lu
I have never read any of Marie Lu’s books. I’m just never really interested. This book has also been the talk of the town. After reading the blurb, I thought maybe this is the time to give one of her books a chance.
  9. Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
I also know nothing of this book besides that it’s a girl power book (?) I’d love to be empowered, so.. 🙈😂
  10. There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins
I’ve read Anna and the French Kiss, and it was ‘meh’. I think I’m going to give her a shot for this new genre she’s never write about before. I’ll start with low expectation or none at all.

Those are the ten books I’m gonna read this month. How many books do you plan to read on October? Are you excited for Halloween? Any Halloween themed book maybe? That’s it for today’s post. Thank you for reading. I’ll see you on the next post. Happy (belated) October! And have a great reading month ahead! 😘
